Wolves move to 7th as they punish Everton! Wolves 2-1 Everton- Match Report

Wolves 2-1 Everton
Goals from Max Kilman and Raul Jiménez handed Bruno Lage's Wolves side a 2-1 win against Everton on Monday night.
The win sees Wolves move into 7th in the league, and now remain unbeaten in the last 5 games.
Coming into the game, Everton had been on somewhat of a rough patch, after failure to win in back-to-back games, including the 5-2 loss to Watford last week, and things didn't get any easier this week as they travelled to the Molineux.
From the kick-off, Wolves started the game the much stronger team, and forced Jordan Pickford into some very early saves. It seemed as though Wolves had broken the deadlock just 15 minutes in, as the inform man Hwang Hee-Chan coolly curled the ball home, but it was soon ruled out by VAR due to Hwang being in an offside position. Everton however, failed to wake up after the disallowed goal and in the 27th minute a Ryan Ait-Nouri corner was headed home by Max Kilman, his first goal in a Wolves shirt.
Wolves' pressure didn't stop there, and just 4 minutes later a poor Ben Godfrey back pass was latched onto by Wolves striker Raul Jiménez who kept his composure one on one with Pickford to chipped it over the oncoming goalkeeper into the net, giving Wolves a two-goal advantage going into the half, and Everton had barely woken up.
As the second half began, it was clear Everton boss Rafa Benitez changed up his plans, as his side grew more into the game and began to create chances. It was 15 minutes into the second half when winger Alex Iwobi fired home from close range to put Everton right back in the game. Everton however was unable to push on, and a late save from Jose Sa to deny Anthony Gordon from a corner was the closest Everton came to drawing level.
Wolves travel to Crystal Palace on Saturday as they look to push towards a top 6 spot, whereas Everton face Spurs on Sunday.
